Description
Agar flakes are a gelling agent prepared by reducing down red sea vegetables and then drying out the extracted gelatin to reduce its moisture content. It is a time-consuming process that involves freezing and thawing out the agar content intermittently for several weeks. The moisture-free agar is then packaged as bars or shredded as flakes.
